Cythnigot (Spore Qlippoth)
Appearance & Ecology
· Normally we might separate these, but in this case they are a bit “one and the same”.
· The Cythnigot is a fungal parasitic infestation of sorts. It grows in the corpses of small creatures and wears them like a suit.
· But it makes adjustments and “tailors” it’s shape to it’s needs, so the small creature ends up looking really quite alien like anything else Qlippoth-ish.
· Beyond this, there is one trademark physical feature: a long stock of fungal material sticks out of the body with a shockingly strong set of jaws on the end.
1e
· Mostly the same
· The one addition is kinda neat: some truly mad people will make a Cythnigot their familiar. But they will basically infect an existing familiar.

Mythology & Folklore

Appearance
· It says squid-like, it’s definitely more Octopus if you ask me.
· Blue skinned, four suckered tentacles that end in dextrous pincers.
· Bulbous eyes, a lamprey-like mouth, and extra mouth on it’s forehead that stretches from between its eyes to the back of its head.
Ecology
· Shoggti travel to other planes to kidnap and charm victims and bring them back to the Outer Rifts.
· This basically makes them specialized slavers.
· Their pincers are not well suited for weapons, but they are fond of wands and other magical items, especially those that have mind-affecting spells and properties.
